Step Into Good Friday fun

March 28, 2018 BY

Rose Constance from Step into Life Torquay is hosting a family fun day this Good Friday to raise valuable funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

A FAMILY fun workout day hopes to get everyone moving while raising funds for the Royal Children’s Good Friday Appeal (GFA).

This Good Friday Step into Life Torquay (SILT) will host a morning of outdoor fun on the Elephant Walk Foreshore- including an Easter egg hunt, games and an array of activities to keep the whole family entertained from 8am to 9am.

Rose Constance from SILT said many of her current members have young children who’d received help from the Royal Children’s Hospital so wanted to raise money in return.

“We would like to help raise funds to support vital research, it’s such a fantastic cause and I’m looking forward to raising as much money as possible,” she said.

Good Friday Appeal Director Anne Randall said they were grateful to receive the support of community members including Step into Life Torquay.

“We’re so grateful for their generosity and support. The money raised will help to make a huge difference to young patients at The Royal Children’s Hospital,” Ms Randall said.

Ms Constance said she was hoping the community would “dig deep” and head down to the Elephant Walk Foreshore, corner of Zeally Bay and The Esplanade Torquay on March 30.

“It’s suitable for all fitness levels and ages and the cost is just a donation to the Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal,” Ms Constance said.
