Sunday sessions return to Terindah

January 9, 2018 BY

Sunday Sessions at Terindah Estate have returned just in time for summer. Following its success earlier this year, the live music on the lawn is back for locals and beyond to enjoy every Sunday until April.

Guests are invited to sit back and soak up the newly found sun with smooth tunes by local artists including Bluewax, Jamie and Kymba Duo, Abe Anderson and Kieran Tobin.

Enjoy French-inspired share plates on the Deck or dine at Terindah Estate’s signature restaurant, The Shed, with beautifully paired estate-made wines.

Terindah Estate has also welcomed Ivan Roianov as executive chef, bringing his wealth of worldly industry knowledge from years spent abroad in some of Europe’s most notable restaurants.

With an infectious love of seafood and seasonal produce, Terindah Estate has provided the Ukraine-born chef with the ideal setting to create a menu that thrives off its natural surrounds, inspired by the ocean, abundant vines and close proximity to local producers.

Bursting with freshness, The Shed’s new menu predominantly nods to French cuisine and sees crisp, clean starters like grilled kangaroo salad with sun-dried tomatoes and orange and Portarlington scallop carpaccio.

Marrying with the estate’s award-winning wines, seared swordfish with fresh herb velouté and seafood blanquette with black mussels, clams, white fish and prawns are ust some of the dishes championing local producers.

For the perfect sweet finish to a summer’s day or balmy evening, guests can indulge in basil panna cotta with salted caramel and tomato marmalade, or the creamy vanilla-ginger crème-brulee with local berries and mint.

Terindah Estate will be open from 8am on Sundays for breakfast in The Shed, with live music on the lawn from noon.

The Shed is also open daily throughout January from noon for lunch and from 6pm for dinner.
