FROM the 2004 days of In the Summertime through to The Good Life, Australian band Thirsty Merc have brought the hits for more than 20 years.

As the warmer weather arrives and things start to heat up, the three-piece band is returning to the stage with their Summer Live ’25 Tour.

Across 32 dates, Thirsty Merc will treat audiences to some of their classic hits including 20 Good Reasons, Mousetrap Heart, Tommy and Krista and many more.

The trio marked recently its 20-year anniversary with a string of sold-out shows.

The group first formed in 2002 and recorded their debut album a year later, since then they have gone on to receive five ARIA nominations, an APRA song of the year nomination and consistently toured throughout the noughties.

Recently, the trio marked its 20-year anniversary with a string of sold-out shows, where they entertained crowds with high-energy performances and hit singalongs.

It is this same energy the band is expected to bring for its next run of shows as they celebrate summer.

Comprising Rai Thistlethwayte, Phil Stack and Matt Smith, the group is well known for their hit In the Summertime, theme song for TV series Bondi Rescue, which has now been renewed for its 19th season.

Thirsty Merc will perform at the Barwon Heads Hotel on Saturday, November 29, where they will be supported by Olivia Lay.

The band will also play at the Torquay Hotel on December 4.
