Live music venues across the east coast are to set come alive as The Belair Lip Bombs take over stages from Ballarat to Brisbane.

The band are performing regional and capital city shows as they hit the road for the Jerry Can and a Van tour, including at the Barwon Club Hotel on August 10.

From August until September, the four piece will bring their gritty sound and songwriting to the live music scene.

After the release of debut album Lush Life last year and performances at SXSW and the Great Escape, The Belair Lip Bombs are returning to Australia.

Maisie Everett (guitar and vocals), Mike Bradvica (guitar), Jimmy Droughton (Bass) and Daniel Devlin make up the Melbourne band.

Crowds can expect a raw yet polished set at their shows across 11 performances.

The tour is presented by Yours and Owls and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

“Yours and Owls is excited to partner with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum to present a stacked bill of up-and-coming talent to audiences across the east coast,” Tour promoter Balunn Jones said.

“Promoting talented Aussie bands, supporting live music venues and encouraging new live gigs is so important to the scene at every level and we are stoked to be part of it.”

To close out the tour, The Belair Lip Bombs will take the stage with a showcase performance at Fortitude Valley’s Big Sound in September.

Joining the band at the Geelong gig is Sunfruits, Holly Hebe and Underlay.
