OCEAN Eyes Optometrists in Ocean Grove has been looking after the eye health of the Bellarine Peninsula community for more than 20 years.

Ocean Eyes Optometrists is an independent optometry practice. It is owned and run by local husband and wife team Anthony and Letitia Dowling, giving a combined experience of more than 55 years in optometric care.

Anthony and Letitia practice full scope optometry – from comprehensive eye examinations, disease diagnosis and management, paediatric assessments, and lenses and frames, to emergency treatment, contact lenses and post-surgical care.

Ocean Eyes Optometrists provides bulk-billed eye examinations for children, pensioners, health care card holders, and veteran affairs gold card holders.

The Ocean Eyes clinic is fully fitted with state of the art equipment including:

· Anterior eye and Retinal Photography

· Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

· Automated Perimetry (Visual field assessment)

· Corneal Topograghy

Kate is the practice manager and senior optical dispenser, with more than 20 years’ experience. She has been with Ocean Eyes Optometrists since the practice opened in 2003.

Her knowledge of optics and her ability to repair the trickiest spectacle break is amazing. She hand selects the spectacle frames Ocean Eyes stocks, ensuring the business only carries quality and unique brands that you won’t see on every second person.

The wonderful support team includes Natalie B and Natalie L – who are also qualified optical dispensers and excel in repairing and adjusting frames, Ella who juggles school and casual work, and newest staff member Lilly, who has just joined the team and started her training.

Ocean Eyes Optometrists are long-term sponsors of the Ocean Grove Football and Netball Club and support other community groups when possible.
