White Rabbit brews Easter delight
Stout and chocolate lovers are rejoicing thanks to the return of the popular White Rabbit Chocolate Stout, back for its seventh year.
The White Rabbit team has collaborated with Pana Organic to produce the beer and are encouraging locals to explore White Rabbit’s philosophy of ‘Fermentation with Imagination’ when they pick up a can this Easter period.
For this year’s Chocolate Stout, notes of dark malt and chocolate reach the nose first, thereafter consumers can feel the rich and smooth heat from the brandy, before experiencing a clean and slighty sweet finish.
Head Brewer at White Rabbit, Jeremy Halse said the team was thrilled to bring the product back to the shelves again and have been rapt with its popularity since its original release at Easter time in 2017.
“With [making] larger volumes we’ve had to simplify the process over the years but have tried hard to maintain the integrity of the beer,” Mr Halse said.
“In fact, we’ve taken great joy in continuing to evolve this beer, so it tastes better and is easier to make”.
Mr Halse said the return of the “incredibly intricate” infused stout was beyond just simply adding chocolate.
“Our fan favourite Chocolate Stout combines traditional darker and roasted malts & barley with a very late addition of cacao, brandy spirit, and candy syrup to produce a slightly sweet beer perfect for Easter and the coming winter months.”
