Laura Winch of Laura Winch Bookkeeping has been servicing businesses around the Torquay, Surf Coast and Geelong region for close to a decade.

Having lived in Torquay full time since 2009, Laura specialises in bookkeeping, and with a background in accounting provides extras, including reporting, implementing solutions such as accounting software add-ons, tax time readiness and virtual chief financial officer services.

Working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, Laura said her career as a sole trader had given her the opportunity to be flexible.

“I enjoy being able to use my skills gained over the years to assist business owners. I studied accounting out of school and worked in accounting-based roles for a number of years,” she said.

“Since having children I have worked as a sole trader offering Bookkeeping, BAS Agent and Virtual CFO services and that offers me some flexibility around my kids’ schooling schedule.”

Laura said she loved the lifestyle living by the beach offered and the opportunity to work in an industry she’s passionate about.

“One of my favourite things about living on the Surf Coast is the choice of great beaches at our doorstep. I really appreciate being able to spend time in the water, and on our beaches year-round,” she said.

“Taking on a bookkeeper will allow you to put more time into your business and value add services will assist in better understanding your business performance and in moving your business to the next level.”
