Frith owner Victoria Cole says she lives by two mottos – “Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything”, and “If you love your work, it is not considered work”.

Victoria’s attitude is “to see, do and experience as much as you can while on this earth”, and she is well and truly achieving that.

With 30 years’ experience in Business Project Management, when Victoria came across the opportunity to buy her Barwon Heads business five years’ ago, she knew where life was about to take her.

“My business experience has really helped me in researching and sourcing globally – the unusual, the fabulous and the unique product and this is what I love doing!” she said.

“My love of travel comes into play when I attend the European trade fairs, searching out and buying unusual pieces you don’t find everywhere else.

“I can’t help sharing the love with everyone else – what a joy!

“Maybe that is why the shop is filled with such a vast array of goodies from Australia and around the globe.”

Victoria will be at a trade fair when this article goes to print, gathering ideas and stock – sharing the love for others to enjoy at Frith.

“Trekking in unknown places invigorates the soul and I will also be embarking on a walking holiday in the Swiss Alps following the trade fairs,” she said.

“Frith’s philosophy is that the store be an experience and a destination.

“A place for customers to feel that they can come in and browse the wonderful variety of products and find out the story behind them.”
