A fundraising event for the calendar

August 29, 2019 BY

Liz is one of the beautiful ladies who put all her fears aside to participate in a calendar which is helping raise money for Ovarian Cancer Australia.

A FUNDRAISING event in Drysdale this weekend will help raise money to support women living with ovarian cancer.
While a highlight of the night will be the launch of a calendar put together by a group of dedicated Bellarine ladies, there will also be a short talk on ovarian cancer, a raffle with prizes valued at over $1000, and two-piece band “The Retrofitters” will play great music for those who would like to kick up their heels.
The event, which is also being held in conjunction with Women’s Health Week, is on Saturday August 31 at SpringDale Community Hall in High Street, Drysdale – doors open at 7.30pm.
Make a donation by pre-purchasing an A3 16-month calendar at the low price of $29.99, come along to support the fundraiser or just learn about it.
Ovarian Cancer Australia, founded by people directly affected by ovarian cancer, raises awareness of the disease and supports those who had been affected.
Call to register your name and book your seat for catering purposes on 0407 593 934.
A light supper will be provided along with tea and coffee.
