Adventurous couple makes the move to Lifestyle Ocean Grove

PROUD new homebuyers Doug and Trish Imrie say they can’t wait to make Lifestyle Ocean Grove their home.

The Ocean Grove locals will be moving into the new over 50s community later this year.

Stage 1 homes are currently under construction with the couple set to move in by November 2018.

Residents of the local area for more than 15 years, the couple are happy to be moving just around the corner.

“We’ve built our lives here and I love our community and walking by the beach,” Trish said. “The Bellarine Peninsula is a beautiful place to call home, so we didn’t want to leave, even though it was time to downsize.”

Doug said he loved working with his hands, but the cost and effort of maintaining a home was becoming too much.

“That’s why the move to Lifestyle Ocean Grove was the perfect one for us, all the maintenance is taken care of,” he said.

Trish said with all the new free time now they were able to travel more.

With an Aqua Club boasting an outdoor pool and cabana set to be built in the community, Trish and Doug will also have access to resort-style facilities when they’re at home.

The environmentally friendly couple was pleased to discover that Lifestyle Ocean Grove offered solar panelling and electric appliances in every home.

“We’ve had solar power and hot water systems before so it’s great that we can continue to have positive impact on the environment,” Doug said.

“We’re so excited to move in.

“Nothing was an effort – they were always happy to make variations for us.”
