All Abilities “Come & Try” Day proves another hit

THE Range @ Curlewis hosted its second All Abilities “Come & Try” Day last Friday.
Curlewis’ Director of Coaching and accredited All Abilities Coach Steve Brodie was on hand to assist participants who were keen to give the sport a go.
Featuring the Paragolfer, the wheelchair that allows the user to stand upright and swing the golf club, the day was again well attended.
“It was great to see people try golf for the first time,” Range General Manager Jamie Brigden said.
“It was even more encouraging to see people from our first event turn up again for the second.”
The third “Come & Try” event is scheduled for October 4 between 2pm and 4pm, to coincide with Golf Australia’s Golf Month.
