ABOUT 90 people attended the launch of the Portarlington U3A painters’ latest exhibition last Friday night.

The Portarlington U3A painters have stepped up to the mark once again and are very proud of the diversity of their November exhibition, which will run every Saturday and Sunday until November 25.

More than 70 creative art works will be on display, covering individual styles from realism to abstract, Australian landscapes, flora/fauna and favourite scenes from members’ travels to Japan, Corfu, New Zealand, Canada; all original in a beautiful National Trust setting.

Members are also showcasing a unique collection of pieces based on “Corrugated Iron Legacy” revealing strong architectural design; in other words something for everyone’s imagination.

The exhibition is at The Mill, Turner Court, Portarlington every weekend between 12pm and 4pm.
