SURF Coast Animal Rescue Services (SCARS) tested the animal knowledge of its friends and supporters with a fundraising trivia night on Saturday.

The event – the first trivia night organised by SCARS – was held at the Spring Creek Reserve Clubrooms and also featured comedy entertainment, music from Melody Moon, games and silent auctions.

Animal-themed questions posed on the night included “Who is Yusuf Islam better known as?” (Cat Stevens), “What is the name of the Brady Bunch’s dog?” (Tiger), and “Who produced Babe?” (George Miller).

The night was emceed by Andy Meddick, and local rescuer Jason Cichocki spoke about the work SCARS volunteers do caring for and helping the local wildlife.
