Another spectacular celebration at Warralily

December 12, 2018 BY

Matt, Brantley, Virinia, Raven and Russell Trotter gathered together to watch the Christmas magic unfold.

THE Warralily Christmas Spectacular saw thousands arrive at the Mirambeena Play Park on Saturday December 8, with many locals in attendance enjoying the free festive celebration alongside their loved ones.

Kat B’s fast-paced jungle body class was a hit, performing with her two daughters on stage while eight of her class members moved through the crowd to spread the dancing fever.

Warralily Estate Manager and MC Ben Stewart did a fantastic job of managing the event’s schedule, while Kylie tribute act 100% Kylie saw kids and parents dancing and singing along to a variety of Christmas songs.

Food trucks and market stall holders got amongst the Christmas spirit, assisting in the sales of raffle tickets for donated prizes from several local businesses.

Despite all the highlights, Santa was the biggest hit. Children’s entertainers the Kazoos did a fantastic job stirring giggles in the crowd, with many children embracing their humour and catchy tunes.

The event’s charity partner, Elf Squad, as well as Geelong Mayor Bruce Harwood, saw the local community give back and donate gifts to the celebration’s first elfing tree.

The Warralily Christmas Spectacular would like to thank its sponsors, including Lincoln on the Bellarine, Core Projects, Armstrong Creek Times, Quick Fit Warralily and Geelong Financial Group for their help in making the event such a success.
