Applications open for Geelong and Bellarine events funding

GEELONG and Bellarine businesses are being encouraged to apply for funding through the Regional Business Events Program.

Funding is available for eligible event organisers hosting new and international and business events in Geelong and on the Bellarine.

Events include conferences, trade exhibitions, corporate meetings and incentive programs occurring throughout 2025 and before March 31, 2026.

Funding can be used for accommodation, venue hire, food and beverage, transport or other event costs.

Business Events Geelong convention bureau manager Tamie Ryan encouraged event organisers to consider the region as a location for their next business event.

“We’re thrilled about the announcement of the Regional Business Events Program and the opportunities it opens for event organisers to bring their events to Geelong and The Bellarine.

“This program helps attract new business and plays a key role in boosting our local economy.”

Event organisers can access up to $80 per delegate (up to $40,000) for new national business events, and up to $150 per delegate (up to $22,350) for new international incentive events.

National Business Events Fund applications will close on October 21, while the International Incentive Events Fund will close on June 30, 2025.
