THE Bellarine North Rotary Club will mark 47 years of its annual Easter Art Expo next weekend when the popular event returns to Drysdale.

The expo will run across Easter Saturday and Sunday at Christian College Sports Stadium and showcase a wide range of works from local and visiting artists.

Art expo coordinator Caroline Rickard said the event continued to draw strong community interest.

“Many look forward to seeing the artists [and] amazing talent producing works of art that you would be happy to display on your walls,” she said.

“We are so excited to be able to showcase this event again.”

Alongside paintings, a photography exhibition will also feature for a fourth year, reflecting growing demand for diverse artistic mediums.

All works will be available for purchase, with collections taking place on Sunday afternoon.

Rickard said the expo also played an important role in supporting the community.

“All funds raised from the sale at the art expo will be put to great use, donating money and time to those who need it most,” Rickard said.

“Locally, we identify groups that get no other financial support such as local foodbanks and family support agencies, plus many more as the need arises.”

The Bellarine North Annual Easter Art Expo will be held on 4–5 April. Christian College Sports Stadium is at 40 Collins Street, Drysdale.
