Art Group offers showing to help celebrate seniors month

THE Barwon Heads Art Group is inviting community members to visit them during Geelong Seniors Month to see what they have achieved during the past year.
The group will be offering an art showing at Barwon Heads Senior Citizens Centre in Clifford Parade on Thursday, October 3 between 10am and 3pm.
“We are asking the community to call into the Barwon Heads Senior Citizens Centre, Barwon Heads to see what the Barwon Heads Art Group have achieved over the last year,” convenor Dorothy Van Dorp said.
“Our artists who are all local love nothing more to come along every Thursday to join in with the atmosphere of this great group.
“We have a coffee and a chat then we get around to painting, we have a tremendous social outlet.”
This will be the second year the group has participated in this great event.
No bookings are required and entry is free.
