MORE than 2,000 trendy art prints delivered by three semi-trailers have rolled into the old fire station in Ocean Grove.

Ocean Grove Home Hardware owner Paul Drake, who sells the prints for “amazing” prices at the old fire station every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, said he believed this was Australia’s largest ever delivery of prints to a retail store. “More than 2,000 prints and three semi-trailers, one after the other and 120 pallets in total,” Mr Drake said.

“It has never happened before and probably will never happen again!

“Bigger than seven Collendina beached whales joined together.”

Mr Drake said the store’s aim was to provide customers with amazing value on art prints by buying in bulk and selling at much less margin than the store’s competitors.

He said this had resulted in enormous sales and the continual arrival of the newest prints.
