Art on show this Easter at Barwon Heads

ABOUT 150 paintings created by local artists will be on exhibit in Barwon Heads during this upcoming Easter long weekend.

The Easter Art Show, which will be at the Senior Citizens Centre, will feature paintings in mediums of oil, acrylic and water colour.

Plus, there will be a variety of styles including local scenery, and abstracts, flora, landscapes and others.

Lyne Hedley and Christy Clancy joined the art group together last year and cannot believe how much their painting has improved over that time.

The Easter Art Show will be open during the four days of Easter, which will give the community and the tourist plenty of time to view the paintings.

The artists and are all local with original paintings.

The art show is at the Senior Citizens Centre, Clifford Parade in Barwon Heads from March 30 to April 2.

Opening hours are 10 am to 4pm each day.
