Artists set to showcase works of walks

December 22, 2017 BY

COASTAL Walks is the theme for this year’s coming Eclectics Art Show.

Held at the Springdale Community Centre from December 30, the group of artists will display works that creatively tie in a wideranging variety of images and styles that surround the theme.

Diane and Pammi have majored in art, but express totally different styles.

Diane concentrates on the sea and landscapes in her impressionist paintings, while Pammi continues with her exceptionally detailed botanical works.

Heather and Marcia have become permanent members and the other artists are looking forward to seeing their new work from this year, as it was extremely well received last year.

Beryl has been painting since she was 16 and has developed a very quirky style, which is evident in her sculptures as well as her paintings.

The Eclectics’ very popular cards printed from original paintings will be on sale again.

Basil the papier mache dog will be there too, but he will have a new companion this year.

Find an original piece you can’t live without, or a painting in just the right colours.

Drop in and say hi at the Springdale Community Centre from December 30 to January 13 from 10am to 4pm.

Entry costs a gold coin donation, which goes to help the centre.
