Artists showcase their work at Springdale

SPRINGDALE Community Centre in Drysdale will host its 12th annual artist’s exhibition later next month.

Springdale has been home to the Springdale Artists for many years, and from January 15 to January 28 they will exhibit a wide range of paintings and art for public display and sale.

Encouraged by centre co-ordinator Anne Brackley and assisted by teacher Annette Playsted, many artists have gone on to show their work at various venues and some have become prize and award winners.

Entry to the exhibition, which runs from 10am to 4pm, is by gold coin donation.

All donations and commission on paintings sold, go to the upkeep of the community centre.
