BALLARAT LAST SALE IN OLD YARDS

Agents, farmers, buyers and onlookers turned out in force to witness an end of an era as the last sale was conducted at the old Ballarat saleyards in Latrobe Street that have been operating since the 1860s, following opening of the new CVLX private selling facility near Miners Rest. Heavy lambs topped $242 at this last sale.
