October 25, 2018 BY

SURF BEACH COMPLEX BUILD ON TRACK

If you have visited Ocean Grove main beach lately you will have noticed that the Surf Beach Complex is really starting to take shape. Construction of the complex is on time with the completion date still on target for mid-April 2019. The surf lifesaving Patrol Tower is on track to be completed in mid-November – in time for the start of the summer patrol season. The main building is also well advanced with the concrete for the upper level due to be poured by the end of October.

COASTAL EROSION  AT OCEAN GROVE  MAIN BEACH

Thank you to the community members and local groups who came along to our recent Open Houses focusing on tackling erosion at Ocean Grove Main Beach. We are working with coastal engineers from consultancy Water Technology to address this issue and consider the community feedback received. We will be displaying final draft plans for a new ramp and erosion protection works at a Community Listening Post at 15W on

Ocean Grove Beach on November 8 and November 10. For more information, head to barwoncoast. com.au/15w-ramp.
