Barwon Heads PS fair creates Christmas vibe

ORGANISERS of Barwon Heads Primary School’s Christmas Fair say it drew a massive crowd on Friday.

After postponing the event for a week due to extreme weather warnings, organisers said it was a lovely evening with a fantastic Christmas vibe.

People enjoyed market stalls, raffles, silent auction, cakes, lollies, rides, disco, face painting, art show, lots of sweet treats, craft tent, men’s shed teaching, and live music.

The stage was the focal point of the evening with local talent performing, raffles being drawn and a visit from Santa.

The school chose to switch its Easter Fair for a Christmas Fair, and after its success will be sticking with a Christmas Fair in 2018.
