BCH healthcare bus on display next week

COMMUNITIES on the Bellarine are set to get their first look at Bellarine Community Health’s colourful new ‘HealthCare Bus’.

The final touches to exterior detail have been completed and the HealthCare Bus will be available to walk through as part of BCH promotions for Dental Health Week  in August.

The internal layout of the bus has undergone extensive conversion to transform it into a multipurpose vehicle that will deliver  a range of primary health services across the Bellarine.

The HealthCare Bus is an innovative initiative from Bellarine Community Health that will not only deliver a range primary health care services across the Bellarine  but will allow clients to access services via telehealth.

The HealthCare Bus will be used to promote increased awareness of critical primary health care services, visit  local community events and support community campaigns such as Dental Health Week.

The BCH HealthCare Bus will be open to walk through on Tuesday, August 6 from 10am-noon at Bellarine Community Health’s Point Lonsdale site on Nelson Road.

You can also take a tour of Bellarine Community Health’s Dental facilities and meet the BCH Dental team at the Point Lonsdale site from 10am-2pm as part of Dental Health Week.
