Bellarine Arts Trail seeks new committee members
THE Bellarine Arts Trail is looking for new volunteer committee members who want to be part of a “fun, successful, diverse, and exciting” annual event heading into its seventh year.
The annual not-for-profit event will take place on November 2 and November 3 this year.
The event builds connection between local artists and creatives and showcases their work to their community and visitors.
Administered by the Barwon Heads Arts Council, the trail includes more than 100 participating artists, open studios, exhibition spaces and galleries in Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff.
The Bellarine Arts Trail is looking for new general committee members as well as new members who have specific skills in areas such as exhibitions, finance, grants, and administration.
Beneficial skills include the ability to work in a small team, written and verbal communication, marketing, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative and working to a timeline.
Applicants with experience in the arts, a desire to think creatively, a sense of joint purpose and an interest in meeting new friends will be valued very highly.
The Bellarine Arts Trail Committee has monthly in-person meetings at the Barwon Heads Arts Hub that usually take about 90 minutes.
If you have a desire to join in, make connections and contribute to the Arts Trail’s success this year, send your expression of interest to [email protected] before March 22.
