Bellarine Cup a fun day for all ages

January 12, 2018 BY

SNAKES, bats, koalas and birds proved a hit with the children at last week’s Batman Management Group Bellarine Cup.

The Australian wildlife visited Geelong Racing Club on Thursday with zoologist Chris Humfrey and his Wild Action.

The team from Wild Action taught children all about the animals and the importance of saving them.

During the race day, youngsters also received backpacks full of goodies and the team from Kelly Sports taught them some skills.

In its third year, guests dressed to impress and enjoyed the Bellarine’s world-class food and wine during a three-course meal served in the Silks Room at Geelong Racecourse, which raised $7,750 for Kids Plus Foundation.

Bay FM’s Roxie Bennett hosted the luncheon, and entertainment was provided by Matthew Charles and KK.
