Bellarine Cup raises almost $10,000 for the kids

January 19, 2018 BY

THE Batman Management Group Bellarine Cup earlier this month proved to be a fantastic day for everyone who attended, but especially the Kids Plus Foundation.

In its third year, the cup raised close to $10,000 for the foundation, which delivers a world class therapy program for babies, children and young adults with neuromotor disabilities.

The money was raised through a raffle, which included advertising in the Bellarine Times as the major prize, and a percentage of both the cup luncheon tickets and gate takings on the day.

“The Bellarine Cup is going from strength to strength so it is fantastic for Kids Plus to be involved as the event’s charity partner,” Kids Plus chief executive officer Shaun Cannon said.

“It’s wonderful how the broader community continues to get behind good organisations doing good things.

“Bill, Paul and the team from the Batman Management Group who sponsor the cup and the Geelong Racing Club have been most generous with their support and we are very much appreciate of their efforts.”

Newly appointed stakeholder and marketing manager for Kids Plus, Amanda Sheering, was joined by Kids Plus client Abby Van Baar in thanking the Batman Management Group for their support.
