VICTORIAN regional MPs converged on the Bellarine last week to discuss the state government’s overall priorities for the regions.

Bellarine MP Alison Marchant said the roundtable-style event, hosted at Ocean Grove Surf Life Saving Club, provided a chance to showcase the best of what the Bellarine had to offer.

“It was a great opportunity to shine a light on the incredible local businesses and industry leaders we have across the Bellarine.

“It was fantastic to see so many local representatives at the roundtable discuss how the State Government can continue to support regional business development and growth.”

Ms Marchant said the Victorian government had invested $45 billion in projects and programs across regional and rural Victorian cities and towns since 2014 .
