Bellarine to commemorate and honour on Anzac Day
ANZAC Day is a national day set aside for all of us to commemorate and honour those men and women who served and/or died for our country in all conflicts throughout the world – past and present.
It is a time to reflect upon the bravery, endurance and selflessness of serving members who sacrifice for the good of all.
The fighting spirit and mateship of those brave soldiers from Australia and New Zealand who landed on the shores of Gallipoli on April 25, 1915 still lives on today with those who choose to serve.
Those who join the military not only protect our wonderful country and its freedoms but also assist in protecting other countries around the world.
The sacrifices made by these wonderful people – past and present – should never be forgotten.
Anzac Day is the one day of the year in which we can truly reflect on these admirable qualities and give our thanks for their loyal service.
