Big Bash hits out in Geelong
The hard-hitting excitement of the Big Bash league officially came to geelong last week, with the Melbourne Renegades and the sydney sixers clashing in a double-header at ghMBa stadium. Renegades captain and Colac local aaron Finch led from the front in the men’s game, scoring 51 as his team passed the sixers’ total of 111 with eight wickets to spare. in the WBBl, a premature celebration from the Renegades and a dramatic second run from the sixers off the last ball tied scores at 120. this forced the game into a super over, in which the Renegades won by only one run, again off the last ball.
