Borough award community sponsorships
THE Borough of Queenscliffe has awarded event sponsorships and eleven community grants to organisations within the community.
The Community Sponsorship event was held last week at the Queenscliff Brewhouse to celebrate organisations supporting enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of those living in the Borough of Queenscliffe.
Mayor Ross Ebbels and deputy mayor Rob Minty were delighted to present grants and sponsorship to:

– Point Lonsdale Basketball Inc
– Point Lonsdale Primary School
– Queenscliff Primary
– Queenscliffe Community Market
– Queenscliffe Historical Museum
– Queenscliffe Literary Festival
– St Aloysius Primary School
– Swan Bay Environment Association
– Uniting Queenscliff
Event sponsorships were awarded to:
– Bellarine Lighthouse Film Festival Incorporated
– Barwon Heads Arts Council
– Chrysalis Awakenings
– Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club
– Queenscliffe Maritime Museum
– Queenscliff Uniting Church
– Queenscliffe Lighthouse Theatre Group
– Sea All Dolphins Swims
– Shedding the Blues
Mr Ebbels said groups and organisations are what makes the Borough so special.
“The mix of community organisations represented by this grant and sponsorship round shows that we are a community of diverse interests and pursuits, with a passion for social, emotional, and physical well-being.
“We thank all those who applied and look forward to seeing these organisations bring their initiatives to life.”
