Brewhouse shuts doors for renovations

ONE of Queenscliff’s most historical local venues has shut its doors until later this year as it goes under renovation.

Yesterday (Monday, February 24), works began to transform the Queenscliff Brewhouse into a more modern pub for all to enjoy.

The renovations will retain and restore the heritage nature of the building in Gellibrand Street but expand the venue’s overall food and beverage offering.

The establishment’s gin distillery will remain.

“After years of pouring pints, sharing laughs, and making memories, Queenscliff Brewhouse is closing its doors,” Queenscliff Brewhouse stated on its Facebook page last week.

“It’s been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing patrons and the local community.

“Thank you for the years of love and support – we’ll cherish every moment!”
