Can do attitude cafe

November 22, 2017 BY

The Driftwood Café has established itself as the place to be for breakfast, lunch or dinner, nestled in the heart of Ocean Grove’s main street.

With a philosophy of using fresh, local, free range, seasonal and organic produce where possible, The Driftwood prides itself on quality, with local dedicated fruit and vegetable growers bringing in boxes of fresh produce each week.

The walls of The Driftwood are adorned with artwork by local artists, including photography and paintings, generally with a natural or beach theme and are offered for sale.

The Driftwood team are proud to be supporters of the Bellarine Arts Trail in its second year and happy to see it bigger and better than before.

The Driftwood have started taking outside catering very seriously, offering a range of packages for team meetings and casual birthdays at home, to large-scale weddings – if you like what the Driftwood does, why not have them bring a little of that to you?

Whether going out of their way to recycle the things normally labelled “too hard” or composting in co-operation with locals, the cafe is always looking to improve their environmental credentials. With the installation of nearly 100 solar panels before this summer, The Driftwood is starting the process of becoming a carbon neutral business.

The cafe is located at 64D The Terrace and is open Sunday-Thursday 7am-4.30pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-9pm. Bookings evenings only on 5255 1832. Head to thedriftwoodcafe.com.au.
