Car and bike show revs up eager crowd

January 12, 2018 BY

HUNDREDS of cars and bikes of all shapes and sizes descended on Drysdale at the weekend for the seventh annual Autopro Classic Car and Bike Show.

More than 750 unique and beautiful kept vehicles kept a crowd of eager viewers happy at Drysdale Recreation Reserve on Sunday, with organisers boasting it was one of the best events yet.

From the classics of the 1940s, to the muscle cars of the 1960s and 70s, and the classic home grown favorites of the 1980s and 1990s, there was something for everyone.

Champion racing driver Jim Richards was a star attraction at the event, with the seven-time Bathurst winner appearing alongside his Porsche GT4.

Cool Change entertained and there was food, drink and some great family activities.

The event raises money for the Drysdale Cricket Club, in particular its junior program.

Leading up to the event on the Saturday night, a special cruise night took in a circle of the Bellarine, finishing up at the Drysdale Cricket Club for a relaxing evening of hospitality.
