13th Beach Boardriders club president Rachel Feldman congratulated the winners and the tireless work of volunteers throughout the season.
“It was so great to get everyone together for the first time in a few years,” she said.
“The happy and inclusive nature of it was exactly what the club needed.
“Everyone really enjoyed having that opportunity to mingle and recap what was a fantastic and enjoyable season of successes in and out of the ocean.”
Mrs Feldman said the club aimed to capitalize on its 2022/23 season by providing more exciting initiatives at 13th Beach Boardriders over the the next twelve months.
“We are in the process of getting a grant finalised which will go towards training and development for our members in and out of the water.
“We also plan on engaging a series of guest speakers to come to the club to foster that togetherness and camaraderie even further.
“The competitions are awesome, but social events are another great way to make great friendships.
“The teams title is also something we will push hard in the next twelve months.”
