Cobras stump up at successful pink fundraiser

COLLENDINA Cricket Club raised $5,750 from their Pink Stumps Day at the weekend, with all money going to the McGrath Foundation.

Organiser Kate Every said the club hosted a great day beginning with all the juniors in pink on the field as well as the seniors.

“It was such a fantastic afternoon and a great way to bring everyone together and create awareness around breast cancer and raise money for the McGrath foundation,” Kate said.

“We are thrilled with the amount we raised. It’s become an annual event that we look forward to.”
