Community creativity celebrated at Warralily Market
THE Warralily Market dazzled over the weekend, with thousands of locals helping to celebrate community and creativity.
Saturday’s event at Mirambeena Park provided the community with the perfect opportunity to embark on some early Christmas gift shopping, with more than 40 talented artisans on hand to sell their creations.
Popular stalls included the unique and handcrafted jewellery, hand-painted Christmas ornaments, children’s toys and the clay earrings from first-time market seller Tilly Pearl.
Marketgoers also enjoyed exploring the Fun Farm 2 U, The Corn Hole Game and listening to the musical talents of Noah Vernon.
Claudia Facy from Warralily said the market was the perfect opportunity to discover unique gifts, handcrafted with love and care by local makers.
“From hand-painted ornaments to one-of-a-kind jewellery from young Tilly Pearl, the stalls featured an impressive array of treasures that left shoppers spoiled for choice.
“Many also chose to lounge on Mirambeena Park’s green lawn, basking in the warm rays and savouring mouth-watering culinary delights from the diverse range of food vendors present.
“We extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported stallholders with such enthusiasm.”
Warralily’s next event will be the Pet’s Day Out at Mirambeena Park on November 19.
