Queenscliff beach was packed with participants and spectators.

PARTICIPANTS and spectators alike converged at Queenscliff front beach last week for Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House’s 21st Sand Sculpture Contest.

Held on Thursday afternoon, contestants of all ages joined in for some fun as they created sculptures that celebrated QNH’s big milestone.

Spades and buckets were a must for the many participants who came to transform their creative ideas into a sculpture, which included many giant sea creatures.

Entertainment was provided by the Neighbourhood House Sea of Ukes band, and the Men’s Shed ran a barbecue, plus there was a second-hand book sale on in the Neighbourhood House during the event.
