BODY Recon Cosmetic Clinic’s (BRCC) focus on providing a friendly, honest and professional experience continues to earn the business rave reviews from its clients.

First established in 2012, the business offers a range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, along with several non-surgical treatments, overseen by medical director and plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Richard Rahdon.

Its scope of services is broad and spans skin cancer surveillance, injectables, medical laser and skin treatments.

The clinic compliments and works synergistically with the business’s surgical side – Body Recon Plastic Surgery – which first launched in Geelong in 2009, providing its patients with a convenient, collaborative and all-inclusive practice.

A first-time entrant, BRCC has quickly made an impression and earned itself a spot among the finalists of the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards, sponsored by LBW Business Wealth + Advisors.

Clinic manager and senior therapist Adele Bartram said the experience had already proved to be a great learning opportunity and the business was excited for all that lay ahead.

“The calibre [of finalists] is obviously really, really great this year… so it’s nice to be even put in the same category as some of the other businesses in Geelong.

“It’s a Geelong-based award, but we really pride ourselves on being industry leaders, and that’s on a global scale, as well as here in Geelong.

The clinic was first established in 2012 to compliment the business’s surgical side, which operates out of Geelong’s St John of God Hospital.

She said BRCC’s success to date could be attributed to several factors.

“We are a fully medicalised clinic. The fact that we have proper medical oversight with all of our procedures and the fact we have everything from our surgical side right down to our non-surgical really offers that layered approach to the business,” Ms Bartram said.

“For clients and patients, that’s really important because we have diversity in what we can offer.”

Ms Bartram also pointed to the business’s advanced, state-of-the-art equipment, highly trained staff, stylish facilities and extensive network of supporting practitioners, from GPs and medical professionals to specialists.

“We pride ourselves on a pursuit of excellence [and] we really pride ourselves on our customised approach with how we treat people as well,” she said.

“It’s all about trusted relationships with what we’re trying to deliver here at Body Recon – so, having genuine, honest discussions with people which just builds on the trust and expertise that we have here.”
