COUNTRY Road has opened its newest store in Lorne, marking a significant expansion for the well-known Australian lifestyle brand.

The Lorne store, which began welcoming customers a week before Christmas, represents a strategic move for the fashion company.

Managing director of Country Road Elle Roseby expressed excitement about the new location.

“We are excited to bring Country Road’s signature style to Lorne, a location renowned for its natural beauty and relaxed, coastal lifestyle,” she said.

Ms Roseby said the store was designed to resonate with the coastal character of Lorne and prioritises reclaimed materials.

“In keeping with its surroundings, the store embraces natural sisal flooring, warm timbers and fixtures that incorporate recycled materials.”

Emulating the feel of a beach kiosk, the store includes a spacious deck, umbrellas, and deck chairs, all overlooking the ocean.

This approach reflects Country Road’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The new store stands out for its sustainable design elements. These include energy-efficient lighting, fitting room hooks made from recycled plastic waste in Australia, children’s seating from repurposed plastic toys, and curtains made of recycled polyester.

Roseby also noted that the store offers a wide array of products. These range from womenswear and menswear to childrenswear and homewares.

“We look forward to welcoming the local community and holidaymakers alike.” Ms Roseby said.

Ms Roseby said the store’s design, product range, and sustainable practices are tailored to resonate with both locals and tourists, reinforcing Country Road’s commitment to being a responsible and integrated community member.
