Dads to ride free at PBMR belated Father’s Day event

FAMILIES are invited to enjoy a belated Father’s Day celebration at the Portarlington Bayside Miniature Railway (PBMR) this Sunday (September 21), with a special event offering free train rides for dads.

Postponed due to inclement weather, the belated Father’s Day gathering promises a relaxed and family-friendly day out without breaking the budget.

Alongside free rides, dads will also have the chance to score a few extra treats, with lucky prizes drawn throughout the day. To be in the running, visitors simply need to purchase a train ticket.

Guests are encouraged to bring along a picnic lunch or make the most of the facilities and enjoy a meal on site. Picnic tables, seats, electric barbecues and toilets are available on site.

The PBMR is situated within the grounds of the Portarlington Bayside Family Park.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm.
