MORE than 2,600 homes across Portarlington will receive a free copy of the Portarlington Business Development Association 2018/19 Directory.

Featuring the town’s new school, principal and students on the cover, the directory was made possible thanks to the Portarlington and Drysdale Community Bank and Port Phillip Ferries, who are joint sponsors.

Portarlington Business Development Association (PBDA) president John Rae said their distributor Laurie had personally delivered the directory to 2,623 homes, an increase of 71 homes on the previous year. Mr Rae said bulk deliveries were also left at 15 Portarlington business outlets.

The directory is highly valued by all residents of Portarlington and includes 2017 community and business award recipients, 203 business entries, 58 community organisations, 10 sporting clubs, 32 help services and 10 defibrillator locations.

The directory also includes 26 new business operators with a brief introduction and photo, with a total of 144 community entries.
