THE Disabled Surfers Association of Australia will return to Ocean Grove Beach next month to celebrate 40 years of “putting smiles on dials.”

The Ocean Grove branch of the volunteer run organisation will be hosting two surf meets on February 1 and March 1.

The sessions will provide an inclusive experience for all people living with disability to experience the rush of riding a wave.

Ocean Grove branch president Jeremy Swift said they are looking to attract upward of 100 volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the day.

“Without our wonderful volunteers we would not be able to hold our events,” he said.

“The days are super special to us all and such an amazing feeling being able to help others enjoy the stoke of surfing and catch a few waves.

“Putting smiles on dials is what we are all about and we need as many people as possible to help make our events happen.”

Volunteers are sought for both in and out the water including water safety, marshalling and registration.
