THE fourth season of Paint & Sip classes are now underway at the Leura Park Estate combining wine, canapes, and paint for enthusiastic artists of all abilities.

Following popular demand, Leura Park has introduced two classes per month to allow “budding Picassos” the chance to eat, drink, paint and laugh with friends both new and old.

Director Lyndsay Sharp said the program is the “complete package for a great night out”.

“Held between 6.30am and 9pm, patrons get to enjoy wine tasting, canapes, cheese and painting instruction from acclaimed Victorian artists, Mandy Dollery and Nikki Carter,” she said.

During classes hosted by Ms Carter, artists will explore themed-based art with options to paint people, animals and florals while Ms Dollery’s classes will focus on free form with participants able to bring a photo for inspiration or choose their muse on the day.

“In all classes, everything is provided, and you’re guaranteed lots of fun, laughter and artisan comradery,” she said.

“There are a number of classes on offer so budding Picassos can choose to come to one or all.”

The Paint & Sip Class costs $90 per person and includes all art supplies, guidance from a professional, 4x75ml premium wine tastings, canapes and cheese as well as a canvas.

“It is a delight to host them, there is always lots of laughter, chatting and artisan comradery which is a pretty good sign,” Ms Sharp said.

“Everyone gets to take home their very own ‘masterpiece’.”
