Eclectics showcase the picturesque places they live

December 26, 2018 BY

Each artist has their own style, hence the title Eclectics, so there will be something for everyone, from romantic to contemporary.

THE Eclectics annual show, which starts this weekend, will feature pieces inspired by the picturesque little seaside villages the artists live in on the Bellarine.

Diane Hodson, Heather Chadwick, Pammi Pryor and Marcia Williams said they had really enjoyed working towards their exhibition this year, and Beryl Stott has finished a new selection of her whimsical sculptures as well as paintings.

The show is the culmination of a year’s work and the artists say the surrounding countryside is a constant form of inspiration as they capture the unique colours, light and atmosphere of the area in all their paintings.

The Eclectics annual show is on at Springdale Community Centre, Drysdale, starting Saturday December 29 through to Sunday January 13. Mark it in your calendar and come along early so you don’t miss out.

The artists said there was no use leaving it to the last minute and then complaining “all the best ones are sold”.
