Edmanson wins golf championship for second time

PORTARLINGTON Golf Club’s six-time club champion and local Jenny Edmanson took out the SWGA Championship event in Colac last week.
Edmanson won the 27-hole event, which features the best players from 26 clubs within the South Western Golf Association.
It is the second time Edmanson has won the prestigious event and she scored an eagle on the day.
Not to be completely outdone, Ange Foott (also a previous champ at Portarlington Golf Club) wasn’t far off winning the championship either and won the 18-hole gross event.
