Exposure sites increase

THE Department of Health has identified more COVID exposure sites across the Geelong region with exposure time frames dating back to August.

Tier 1 exposure sites include:

Geelong Premixed Concrete, Moolap. Site exposure dates: September 1, between 6.30am and 6.05pm; September 2, 5.35am and 4pm; September 6, 6.20am and 4.10pm; September 7, 6.20am and 4.50pm.

Geelong Premixed Concrete, Grovedale, August 31, between 6.20am and 6.20pm.

Curlewis Medical Centre, September 3, between 10.50am and 12.20pm.

Lake Imaging, Drysdale, September 6, between 4.30pm and 6.15pm.

Anyone who was at a Tier 1 site during the dates and times listed must get tested and isolate for 14 days.

Tier 2 sites include:

Shell Coles Express, Moolap. Site exposure dates: August 31, between 5.15pm  and 6pm;  September 1, between 4.15pm and 5pm; September 2, between 2.15pm and 3pm; September 6, between 3.15pm and 3.45pm; September 7, between 3.45pm and 4.15pm.

Coles, Waurn Ponds, September 6, between 2pm and 3.45pm

The Farmhouse Bakery, North Geelong, September 6, between 10am and 10.50am.

Caltex Woolworths, Waurn Ponds, September 7, between 7am and 7.45am.

Ocean Petroleum Drysdale, September 7, between 4pm and 5.15pm

McDonald’s drive-thru, Newcomb, September 8, between  6.15am – 6.45am.

Hooley Dooley Ice creamery, Waurn Ponds, September 8, between  4.30pm – 5.30pm.

Anyone who visited a Tier 2 site at the date and time listed must get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Barwon Health has reopened the Geelong Showgrounds testing site in response to the region’s new exposure sites.

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or has been to an exposure site should get tested, and follow the Department of Health’s instructions.
