TIGER DROP IN TORQUAY

The Torquay Tiger Drop is on again for 2019. They will be dropping 1,000 numbered golf balls from a helicopter onto the ground (McCartney Oval) and the ball closest to the flag will win the major prize of $15,000. To enter the Tiger Drop draw you can purchase one or more tickets at $100 per ticket. The event will be held Friday night (February 22) with entertainment for the entire family free. MUSIC OF THE NIGHT WITH FIMMANO

Ben Maiorana Entertainment presents Music of the Night: An International Tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber arriving to GPAC February 23 at 8pm. Music of the Night is an enchanting musical and visual spectacular presented by highly acclaimed multi-award winning international pianist vocalist Joey Fimmano. Joey is joined on stage by star of musicals and theatre, Dexter Villa, star of Miss Saigon in the West End of London and Australian leading soprano Jessica Di Bartolo. SUNDAY MUSIC SESSIONS AT BASILS FARM

Enjoy the angelic sounds of local musician Imogen Brough during this week’s Basils Farm Sunday Session. From 12.30pm to 3.30pm listen to the ethereal tunes brought to you via Ms Brough, a popular contestant during Channel Nine’s 2013 Voice series. Sit outdoors on the lawn under the fig trees or inside Basils Cafe and take in the stunning views across Swan Bay to Queenscliff. Entry is free however bookings are highly recommended. Musicians play from September to April every Sunday. Located at 43-53 Nye Road, Swan Bay.
