Family Fun Day celebrates 10th anniversary this weekend
GATHER your young (and young at heart) to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Potato Shed’s free Family Fun Day this Sunday.
Kick off Children’s Week with a program big on local content, featuring long-term supporters 3Triple2, which will once again delight one and all with the pantomime Cinderella.
Mini Maestros will be on hand with a music program designed to bring out the maestros in our pre-schoolers.
Bellarine Kids will oversee arts and craft sessions, including a badge-making workshop.
The City of Greater Geelong Skate Park will set up to challenge young skate stars keen to prove their prowess, and the Bellarine Sports and Aquatic Centre will bring their mascot, Webstar the Platypus, with plenty of selfie-opportunities on the day.
A 10th anniversary celebration deserves some big acts and they don’t come any bigger than local award-winners The Mik Maks, who will once again hit the outdoor main stage to entertain all ages with their chart-topping hits.
Topping off the huge program will be a special performance of Super Amazing Giant Girl, direct from sell-out shows in Melbourne, Castlemaine and Adelaide.
Bring a rug and picnic basket or purchase food from one of the fantastic food vans rolling up to help celebrate the local community and the Potato Shed’s 10th anniversary of bringing free family fun to the Bellarine.
The 10th anniversary of the Potato Shed’s free Family Fun Day is on Sunday October 21 from 11am to 3pm.
